Participation in college prayer is compulsory for the students who have the classes at 10.30 a.m.Late comers will not be allowed
to enter the lecture room.

ATTENDANCE : |
1. Attendance in all lectures is compulsory . University regulation require minimum of 75% attendance of classes.Namesof those
who are irregular in attendance will be struck off the rolls. If one is absent , he/she should bring a letter, endorsed by his
Guardian,accounting for his/her absence.
2. In case of sickness of their ward,parents are advised to inform the principal by sending a letter with medical certificate.
3. The general hours of instruction for B.A., B.Sc & B.Com streams are from 10.30 AM to 5 P.M. As soon As the bell rings, strict
silence must be kept in and outside the lecture rooms so that all lectures may begin immediately.
4. Strict silence must be observed during the lecture.Students breaking this rule will be directed to leave the college for that day.
5. Our students should as soon as possible procure all the book recommended by the college for the different subjects .When so
directed by the professors , they must bring the text books prescribed by the college to the lectures.
6. Students are directed not to stay in the class room , loiter on college corridor when they have no scheduled classes in the
existing routine.

TESTS & EXAMINATIONS : |
Regular tutorials & selection test examination are undertaken strictly following the norms laid by Calcutta University in case
of all streams & classes . These tests are of incredible importance and all the tests Count towards promotion to the next class
and admission to the University Examination.

MEETING THE PRINCIPAL : |
Students can meet the principal between 2P.M. to 4 pm [Monday, Wednesday, Friday] & Principal meets Visitors between 2P.M to
4P.M [Tuesday & Thursday].

In order to keep the Guardians informed about the performance & attendance of therewards ,progress reports are posted time to
time . They are requested to take note of the reports so that there may be little room for surprise and no cause for complaint
when sending up is refused.They are however invited to meet Principal to discuss the progress their wards.

ATTESTATION : |
Those who wish to secure the principal's signature for certificates attestation should approach the head - clerk from 10:30 am to
1:30 pm.

NOTICE BOARD : |
Students should take great care to look up the Notice Board while coming to and leaving the college . No excuse will be
considered if Notices of the board are ignored.

OBJECTIONABLE OFFENCE : |
Smoking, chewing tobacco, intoxication any where in the college premises is strictly forbidden. This include canteen,playground,
common room,the pavement along the college building.

MOBILE PHONE : |
Use of mobile phones within the including the canteen is not permitted.However one may use it outside the building.In case of
violation of this code,the mobile phone may be confiscated or fine imposed or both.

POSTERS : |
No posters are to be pasted or fixed with cello tape anywhere on the college walls.for any writing on the walls fines will be
imposed.

LENDING LIBRARY : |
1. Any student who takes books from the library without permission or cuts pages out of library books exposes himself to the
gravest penalties . Once a student has accepted a book which he takes out,to see whether it is in satisfactory condition.
2. No marks or inscription of any kind be made in library book.Offenders will be fined in proportion to the damage done.
3. Book lost must be replaced.
4. All books may be called in at the Liberian's discretion.

READING ROOM : |
1.The reading room contains text books and standard reference books on all subject taught in the college.Suggestion for addition
to the library may be submitted through the staff who keeps a special register for this purpose.
2.The reading room is open every weekday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
3.No books or magazines may ever be removed from the reading room.
4.Books are issued on presentation of the student's identity card which will remain with the staff as long as the book is in use.

COLLEGE DRESS : |
Shirt and Trousers for boys and Salwar-kameez or Sari for girls.

DISCIPLINARY NORMS : |
The following are the disciplinary norms that must on no account be flouted by any student of the college :
1.They must see to it that college properties/walls are not damaged/defaced.
2.Under no circumstances students or outsiders are allowed to sit or gossip on the portico or colonnade attached to the main gate
of the building of the college.
3.Students are to abide by all the Rules & Regulations, Instruction, Directive & Notification framed and issued by the college
authority from time to time in the interest of the student themselves in particular and of the college in general.
4.Students should be polite and courteous behavior.By no means should they show disrespect to any member of the college staff
and be rude to their fellow students.
5.Disorderly behavior within or outside class rooms, shouting or screaming or damaging collage property are severely dealt
with.
6.Impersonation at roll-call is a serious offense.
7.Student must not enter office without valid reasons and disturb the work in the office.
8.Concession in tuition fees, free studentship and stipends granted are tenable only on condition of good conduct, regular
attendance and satisfactory progress in studies/result in the class examination.
9.Students must not enter Professor room without taking permission.
